STUDENT PRODUCTION 2025 Call For Entries OPEN

These awards are open to any College, University, Trade Schools and High School in the Northwest chapter’s area. Recipients are recognized at the Northwest Regional Emmy® Awards event each year with Student Production Awards.

2025 NATAS Northwest Student Production Awards Call for Entries covers both the College Division and High School Division Student Production Awards. College and High School nominees will be announced in late April and award recipients will be announced and recognized in June.

To be eligible, entries must have been produced in the Northwest Region during the eligibility period of 2024 but must not have been entered in a prior year’s Student Production Awards. Deadline February 28th, 2025

SCHOLARSHIPS SUBMISSIONS OPEN

Since 1985, NATAS Northwest has awarded more than 100 scholarships totaling over $200,000 to aspiring television professionals studying at universities in Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Montana, and Alaska. Throughout our history, NATAS remains committed to building a culturally diverse and pluralistic community in a multicultural environment.

Any college OR high school seniors headed to college, (fall of the upcoming year) living or attending college in our 5-state region (WA, OR, ID, MT & AK). The scholarship is limited to students studying or participating in a TV/video program or projects.

Videos for submitted entries may be uploaded until Friday Jan 24th.

Discounts for Judging

If you judged a minimum of two categories in 2024 you will receive $50 discounts on each entry you are listed as an entrant. This discount applies ONLY to individual(s) who judged, not the entire entry. If you are submitting for multiple entrants and they have suggested they judged, but the fee does not reflect, reach out to northwest@emmyonline.tv. We will confirm.

If you are basking in discounts on 2025 entries, be sure you participate and build your judging reserves. We will have entries from Boston/New England, Central Great Lakes, National Capital Cheseapeake Bay, Pacific Southwest, Rocky Mountain, AND Southeast. If you have not judged before, just let us know. It’s much simpler than you think!

The Northwest Regional Emmy® Awards ceremonies highlight each year's activities in June. Along with the Emmy® Awards, the chapter provides our region's professionals with seminars, programs, and networking.

NATAS also serves our communities by offering scholarships for tomorrow's broadcasting leaders.

The Northwest Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences is committed to welcoming all people into our organization. In 2020, we created a Diversity Committee to focus on increasing diversity and awareness within our board and during all of our events, including the Northwest Regional Emmy® Awards Gala.
